Camarena Health – It is a Health care center, the Community Health Center, proudly serves residents throughout Madera County. We provide medical, dental, optometry, and Family Medicine Practice.
Camarena has been serving Madera and the surrounding areas for over 40 years and continues expanding to Eastern Madera and Fresno. In 2019, we focused on safeguarding nearly 47,000 patients with healthcare services and providing almost 250,000 patient visits.
To promote healthy communities by providing quality and compassionate healthcare. National Women’s Health Week encourages women of all ages to reflect on their individual health needs and take steps to improve their overall health.

Camarena Health is proud to provision and provide positions to our local students. This opportunity lets students be onsite to study and work at our facilities. Through the position program, students are provided with altered job shadowing experiences. Additionally, students are balancing with our medical control and our outreach team to support our community. These skills are invaluable as they prepare the students for the staff in a healthcare setting.
What Is The Goal of Camarena Health?
Camarena Health Outreach Internship Program: (Programs-Teaching Health Center Program).
This internship aims to prepare young professionals for jobs in well-being care or gain vital experience in preparation for professional or medical school. Interns assist and support the outreach team with various public health initiatives. In addition, interns were in charge of developing and implementing education on health center programs and services.
Social Media Marketing And Communications Internship: (Careers)
The ideal candidate will have social media management experience and is up-to-date on current trends and strategies. They bring new and fresh ideas to the table and lead by example. The ability to conceive and create original artwork/graphic designs is desired.
